Really nice park. My grandson and I had a ball!!! I love to see him excited, happy and enjoying himself.
Safe and diverse enough. The kids wished it had more exciting slides.
Nice, quiet park with swings, small slide, climbing nets, ball basket, spinny seats, walking path. Not a ton of kids equipment but it is newer and has soft rubber flooring. My daughter always has fun. One part is smaller equipment better for very little children. Baseball fields, tennis court, volleyball court, picnic tables, benches around pathway, and a bathroom. I love that it is right behind a police and fire station.
Great playground for children, open fields, seated swings for adults, track for walking/rrunning/biking, public bathrooms, roofed eating area, tennis courts, horseshoe, and baseball fields.
Speedway is home to a cpl great parks and Leonard park is one of them. Whether your taking in a ballgame or spending time with your kids on the playground I guarantee boredom will not be a problem. Good luck reserving the shelter though. Seems like it is always in use. Just like meadowood it has the walk/run track that goes completely around it and plenty of shade. Activities such as tennis and horseshoes are constantly going on and the concession stand is improving.
